lots of updating to do I know… I’m going to catch up now that I am on maternity leave, but tonight is just going to be lots of photos of Emery!
I know I really really need to do a BIG post and do some major updating. But this is going to just be a quick one.
We are spending our time preparing for the arrival of Baby Girl Fraser and hanging out with Alistair. That is about it. I’ll have a lot of pictures to post soon. But for now, I just want to share a segment of Alistair’s promotion ceremony from his Karate Class! the whole ceremony was so cute, I’ve only included a short clip of him, which you can access with the YouTube link. He has only been doing it for about 2 months. The class is once a week for about 45 minutes and it is during the day at daycare, very convenient, but the sad part about that is that we don’t get to see him in class. It was very exciting to attend the promotion ceremony and see what all he has been learning.
In the coming week or so I’ll try to post up my knitting (I have completed a sweater for myself FINALLY and a ton of little things for the new little girl), the train ride we took Alistair too last week and anything else that needs to be up here!
Here is Alistair’s super awesome Thomas bed. My parents built it! He loves it so much. And now that he is moved out of the nursery it’s time to girl up the nursery for his little sister!!!

Yes friends and fam, he is sporting a faux-hawk. He is officially too cool for school.

Last week was fire safety week at preschool. I got this super cool hat and I learned to stop, drop, and roll!!!
We couldn’t let the occasion of having a super bowl in our city and not go and check out the festivities! We took the bus downtown to save ourselves the trouble and expense of parking near the Super Bowl Village. Alistair, who has an obsession with ALL modes of transportation found the bus ride to be GREAT FUN!
When we got to the circle, we took Alistair to our favorite pizza place in the city! Giorgio’s is right off the circle and when I worked in that area, I used to go there for their broccoli rolls all the time and would also bring pizzas home with me! Alistair LOVED it!
Then we went to take pictures with the Roman Numerals at the circle and after that made our way to the village! Overall it was a great day! We have pictures on Michael’s camera that are actually of US standing by the numerals, but I haven’t gotten them off yet, if I ever get around to that, I’ll put them up!
- Super Numerals
- This Pizza is Good!
I have lots of updating to do, it will take several posts to update the blog with everything we have been up to lately, but this is a start!
Several weeks ago Alistair and I went to Fort Wayne to visit his Mimi and Gramps! There was just enough snow on the ground to go for a sled ride and Alistair couldn’t pass up that opportunity!
- Look No Hands!
- What does this lever do?
- Driving the Tractor!
Alistair and his Mimi had such a great time getting pulled on the sled by Gramps and his tractor.
One very happy toddler out and about on his trike!
This is what happens when Alistair gets raspberries with dinner!
